Eyes of Steel
This collection of eye images was inspired by the collection of arms fashioned from steel at the Philadelphia Art Museum.
The Philadelphia Museum of Art has a large and varied collection of arms and armor from around the world. It includes items from the Middle Ages, Renaissance, and early modern periods, from Europe, Asia and the Americas. The collection includes swords, daggers, helmets, breastplates, lances, shields, and other pieces of protective armor. It also includes firearms, such as muskets and pistols, as well as dress weapons such as hunting swords and ceremonial sabers. The collection also includes crossbows, bows, and other weapons of the sort used in ancient and medieval warfare. The museum also has a number of artifacts related to the history of arms and armor, including books, manuscripts, and engravings.
