The Bridges of Point Pleasant Pennsylvania

I know this isn’t like traveling to a distant location but it is a location I cycle through often and every time I do the empty bridge pilings standing in the middle of the river make me think about the history of this location. So I started researching it and found many interesting facts that I placed on the timeline. For example people have lived in this location and needed to cross the river since 1739. That is before The United States where The United States. That is 50 years before our first President. The Delaware and Raritan Canal was built before any permanent bridges where in this area.
